Gavin Has Finally Gained Some Weight!!!

Yesterday, Oct. 22, 2009 we took Gavin to see his pediatrician, Dr. C who we absolutely love! Dr. C has been very supportive of Gavin and our concerns from the very beginning. During our follow-up post-surgery appointment, It was revealed that Gavin now weighs 34 lbs. This is the first time in almost a year that Gavin has actually gained some weight. He has always been 30 lbs on and off since last year, and now he has gained 4 lbs up-to-date. While the weight gain is exciting, Dr. C has cautioned that the weight gain should be gradual. Gavin is enjoying his “steak and lobster.” So far, the tube feeding is working well. The other great thing is that it is very discreet. We plan to take Gavin swimming hopefully by next month.
